Your data stays yours
You probably want to know whether your boss can hear what you said in your last check-in. Short answer: no. Long answer below.
What we collect
A short voice answer to a few open questions about how work is going. We turn the audio into text, score it for psychosocial signals (workload, support, fatigue, conflict), and keep both. Nothing else from your phone is touched.
What happens to it
Your check-in joins a cohort with at least six other people before any number reaches your supervisor. If fewer than seven people in your group have checked in, your supervisor sees nothing for that group — not even a redacted count.
Who sees what
Supervisors see cohort-level patterns and the actions Echo recommends. Supervisors do not see your name attached to a quote, a score, or a transcript. Echo support staff can see raw data only when you ask us to (for example, an erasure request) and every access is logged.
How long we keep it
Audio is deleted within thirty days. Transcripts and scores follow your employer's retention policy and are deleted automatically when that window ends. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see "How to control" below.
How to control or stop check-ins
Reply STOP to any text from us to end check-ins. Email privacy@echo-control.com to ask questions, request a copy of your data, or request deletion. We will not loop you through "are you sure?" steps.
