Assessment Privacy & Data Terms
These terms apply when Echo administers a Big-5 assessment on behalf of a prospective employer. The assessment is for working-style and team-fit context, not clinical diagnosis.
Purpose
Echo processes assessment responses to help a prospective employer understand working style, communication preferences, and collaboration fit. The assessment is not a clinical, medical, or psychological diagnostic tool.
What is collected
The assessment collects responses to 60 standard psychometric questions. Echo processes those answers to generate a Big-5 profile and related personalised output.
Who sees the data
- You: you receive your complete profile at the conclusion of the hiring process.
- The hiring panel: the hiring manager and designated interviewers assessing you for the role.
- Echo: as technology vendor, strictly to provide and secure the service.
Retention
- If you join the team, your profile may transition into your employee record to support onboarding and team reporting.
- If you are not selected, assessment data is deleted from Echo systems 30 days after the position is filled unless you opt in to retention for future roles.
Your rights
You have a right to receive your results and may request withdrawal or deletion through the prospective employer's nominated contact path.
Decision-making
Echo provides insights, not decisions. The final hiring decision is made by human decision-makers at the prospective employer using multiple inputs.
